My son, as I said, is almost 3 and has mild (but sliding more and more towards moderate as time goes by) Autism. His speech is delayed, he has night terrors, trouble with socialisation and eye contact, behavioural and aggression issues and he is most definitely a bright spark who understands everything that is said to him but is quite behind in his development. I will refer to him as "J" in this blog for privacy reasons.
I wanted to start this blog as a way to release and vent the day to day issues we have (surprisingly enough, the issues arise mostly from dealing with professionals, not J"), the Biomedical/Gluten Free-Casian Free diet journey that we are about to embark on and the very exciting opportunity of training a Disability Assistance puppy for J. And last but not least, to celebrate the little things that mean so much.
